Vivien Cowey

Owner / Director

Vivien Cowey

Vivien founded Dimensions in 1990 and has since worked with a wide range of professional and influential clients, including architects, property owners, legal publishers, HVAC contractors and medical practices.

With a Diploma in Management and decades of hands-on business experience, her passion is helping small and medium businesses run efficient, effective offices and reach their full potential. Vivien is a founding member of the New Zealand Bookkeepers Association and a member of the Property Investors Association.

More about Vivien

Vivien's connection to computers began early, learning on the systems her father brought home and later developing skills in CorelDraw, Publisher and Photoshop through his photocopy business. She has owned residential rentals and operated her own garden shop, giving her a practical owner's perspective.

Outside work, family is central to Vivien. She has completed half marathons, competed in South Island athletics, played ice hockey and enjoys mountain biking.

Fyrn Howells

Fyrn Howells

Fyrn enjoys making the day-to-day work of running a business more efficient. After 18 years living and working in England, she returned to Christchurch with broad finance and administration experience.

A Certified Bookkeeper since 2016 and Xero Certified Advisor, Fyrn's expertise includes bank reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, GST, budgets, cashflows, monthly management reports and payroll.

Systems and experience

Fyrn has worked for a large Christchurch accounting firm and Inland Revenue. She works with Xero, MYOB, Google Workspace, Capsule CRM, WFM, Microsoft Office, iPayroll, Smart Payroll and Xero Payroll.

Amy Burrows

Senior Property Bookkeeper

Amy Burrows

Amy supports clients with bookkeeping and administration, drawing on an earlier career in retail sales and management across lighting, telecommunications and fashion.

She specialises in larger property clients, updating budgets, cashflows and tenancy schedules; monitoring debtors; maintaining depreciation schedules; filing GST; preparing payments; and reconciling bank accounts.

Systems and background

After 13 years on Australia's Gold Coast, Amy returned to Christchurch with her family. She is confident with Excel, Word, Adobe, MoneyWorks and Xero, and holds a Certificate in Bookkeeping.
